Position Title:Manager, Workforce Planning

Responsibilities:

Our Corporate HR team is seeking an experienced professional to design and implement a comprehensive and coordinated approach to workforce planning to support our overall business strategy.  The successful candidate will possess considerable experience designing and implementing recruitment strategies, retention and development programs, and diversity outreach initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work in partnership with managers to identify and resolve workforce-planning trends that impact achievement of business planning needs
  • Assist in the identification of new sourcing channels, including the use of Web 2.0 strategies
  • Develop and deliver a toolkit approach to enable managers to plan their own workforce requirements to support the recruitment, retention and development of competent and motivated employees
  • Maintain a comprehensive awareness of current HR and Business issues in order to continuously improve workforce planning
  • Promotes inclusion and influences managers in order that they embrace diversity within their workforce planning process
  • Utilize data as an effective management tool, forecasting trends and anticipating needs
  • Coordinate the effective dissemination of data to Managers and Executive teams
  • Design and implement strategies to retain top performers and improve performance of current and developing leaders
  • Identify best practices in performance management and identify opportunities to implement throughout the enterprise
  • Manage the development and delivery of key initiatives to secure positive improvement on strategic company goals
Qualifications:

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

Education:    Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.  PHR or SPHR certification highly preferred.

Experience:  Two or more years experience in workforce planning, recruitment and diversity programs

Knowledge:  Ability to work across functional/departmental lines as needed to secure engagement of key stakeholders.  Ability to be forward thinking while maintaining an appreciation and understanding of past practices.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and details while meeting deadlines.  Solid PC skills, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook required.  Familiarity with SAP a plus.

 


Other Information:

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overtime as necessary.
