HRMA Scholarships

• Two (2) scholarships available for either the Dec. 1, 2007-Jan. 31, 2008 or the May 1, 2008-June 30, 2008 PHR or SHPR certification examination window.
• Upon successful completing and passing the PHR or SPHR certification examination, scholarship winners will receive reimbursement for fees paid up to $300 for PHR and $425 for SPHR (study materials are not eligible.)

HR Conferences and Seminars

• Three (3)* scholarships available for any HR-related professional development seminar or conference not covered by the HRMA Scholarship Program. Examples include any conference or seminar provided by SHRM, including the MO State Conference, seminars put on by consulting firms, other human resource related associations, any government agency, etc.
• Upon successful attendance at a HR-related professional development seminar or conference, scholarship winner will receive reimbursement for fees paid up to $350.

HRMA Student Membership

• One (1) scholarship available for 2007-2008 HRMA Student Membership.
• Upon successful attendance at two (2) HRMA monthly meetings, scholarship winner will receive reimbursement for fees paid up to $75.

* Two (2) of these five (5) scholarships are reserved exclusively for current committee members;

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be current HRMA member for at least one year prior to application
  OR
• Must be current HRMA Committee Member: Two (2)* scholarships are reserved exclusively for current committee members; however, committee members may apply for any scholarship regardless of membership length.
• For HRMA Student Membership Scholarship, following conditions apply:
  Current student enrolled in an accredited institution with either a junior or senior standing in an undergraduate program or in a Master’s program pursuing degree in any human resource related major, minor, or Master’s degree.
