Unfortunately, today's world is full of potential events that can put your company's employees and property in danger. From civil unrest to natural disasters to onsite disturbance, HR needs to help their companies be ready for anything. Tim Reagan, Senior Director of Security at Ameren Corporation has guided the company's review and implementation of Ameren's security and people policies to reflect the unpredictable environments we all work in. Tim will share the steps Ameren went through to review its policies to protect people and property in all situations. This presentation will provide practical tips, how to engage key business and community stakeholders, and questions that HR professionals at organizations of any size and industry needs to answer.

About Our Speaker
Timothy Reagan is senior director of Corporate Security for Ameren Corporation. He oversees security for all of the company's subsidiaries across Ameren's 64,000-square-mile service territory in Missouri and Illinois serving 2.4 million electric customers and 900,000 gas customers. His responsibilities include a variety of tasks ranging from executive protection and customer threat assessments to regulatory and corporate policy violation investigations. Reagan is also Ameren's liaison to federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and organizations.
Prior to joining Ameren in 2013, Reagan served in various assignments for 35 years at the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He retired as a Deputy Chief and Chief of Staff to the Chief of Police.
Reagan is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He earned a master's degree in business administration from Lindenwood University and a bachelor's degree in administration of justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Reagan is a member of several organizations including the Missouri Police Chiefs Association, Missouri Peace Officers Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, American Association for Industrial Security, BackStoppers, Corporate Security Advisors Association, St. Louis Police Fraternal Organization, and the FBI Domestic Security Alliance Council.
