Human Resource Manager
Looking for a progessive, forward thinking HR Leader who can guide Department Leaders on ways to retain talent through positive coaching and counseling in a fast paced high turnover environment.  Serve in a generalist human resources capacity, with primary duties including benefits administration, recruitment, and selection. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports and fosters an employee-oriented organizational culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance in a kind and compassionate manner.
  • Builds relationships and offers assistance to employees through frequent interactions. Explains benefits options, conducts stay and exit interviews when appropriate and assists with employee relationship issues.
  • Encourage open communication between all team members, allowing the team to bring forward ideas on how they can collectively deliver more effective service.
  • Working knowledge of ADA, COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, ADEA, and Title VII.
  • Maintains working knowledge of employment law (state and federal).
  • Assists in investigations regarding employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, ethics complaints, and EEOC complaints.
  • Assist with open enrollment for staff
  • Coordinate worker’s compensation claims and investigations and attend safety committee meetings
  • Electronically file separation reports to unemployment vendor and dispute unemployment claims
  • Gather and approve vacation and sick leave requests and CEU seminar requests
  • Update and Maintain employment records payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Recruit, screen, and interview candidates
  • Conduct Orientation
  • Facilitates Leaves of Absence (FMLA, Medical, and Personal) for employees working with support staff
  • Serve as a liason for leadership regarding personnel issues
  • Provides guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
