To encourage member input and participation in next
year's program schedule, the HRMA Program Committee has defined a consistent
process for selecting speakers for seminars, dinner meetings and other
events so as to be fair to all involved. Presentations will be evaluated
by the Program Committee based on the following criteria:
1. Is the topic of interest
to members?
2. Is the proposed speaker a subject matter expert?
3. Is the proposed speaker capable of delivering an informative,
credible presentation in a captivating way?
If a proposed speaker could fill in on short notice
(less than 24 hours) should a scheduled speaker cancel at the last minute,
he/she could be given priority consideration over other proposed speakers.
To be considered, potential speakers must
submit proposals containing topic, title and outline of presentation,
biography, photograph and previous speaking event references. The Programs
Committee will accept speaker proposals for the 2008/2009 program year
until April 30, 2008. Proposals can be sent to HRMA
or faxed to (314) 845-1891.
